GLOSSARY

Priority Mail

Justin WinterBy · Updated August 28, 2026

A faster USPS class — typically 1–3 business days — with tracking included as standard.

Priority Mail buys speed and visibility over First-Class. Tracking comes with it, so there is no add-on needed just to watch the piece move.

Like First-Class, its delivery window is a service standard rather than a guaranteed date. The only USPS product with a money-back delivery guarantee is Priority Mail Express.
