Seamless Acceptance

A USPS program that verifies and accepts commercial mailings electronically using barcode scan data, instead of a manual physical verification at the mailing facility.
Under Seamless Acceptance, USPS validates that a mailing matches its electronic documentation using scans captured as the mail moves through the network, rather than requiring a postal clerk to inspect and verify samples of the physical mailing on-site before it enters the system.
It depends on Full-Service Intelligent Mail data to work, and like that program, it operates behind the scenes of commercial mail production rather than affecting how an individual piece is addressed or priced.
